NOMA sponsors student to attend Harvard GSA program
.
The National Organization of Minority Architects is proud to support Victoria Acevedo in attending the 2013 Career Discovery Program at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Acevedo, a third year architecture student with a 4.0 GPA at Georgia Tech, was selected through a national application process. Successful applicants receive $2,985 in financial assistance from Harvard GSD to attend the program. The award amount applies to the full cost of tuition. NOMA assisted by providing the additional $1,200 housing allowance required for attendance. Acevedo will broaden her educational experience with a concentration in landscape architecture during the program. Acevedo was recently appointed as the NOMAS Director of Public Relations and is currently a mentee in a NOMA Atlanta Mentoring Program. The Career Discovery Program sponsorship is made possible via an ongoing relationship between NOMA and the Harvard GSD.
