NOMA attends 2014 USA Science and Engineering Fest
NOMA recently participated in the 3rd national USA Science and Engineering Festival held in Washington DC.  The mission of the science festival is to re-invigorate the interest of our nation’s youth in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) by producing and presenting the most compelling, exciting, educational and entertaining science festival in the United States.  The NOMA Booth activity involved building towers from jellybeans and toothpicks and the young builders thoroughly enjoyed the challenge.  Thank you to NOMA members and supporters Kathryn Prigmore, Melissa Daniels, Sherry Snipes, Thomas Brokaw, Crystal Brokaw, Kathy Dixon, Aaron Oogletree, and Theodore Wilhite for their help with setting up and staffing the booth.
