The Barbara G. Laurie Annual Student Design Competition

The Barbara G. Laurie Annual Student Design Competition provides architecture students as well as students from related design disciplines with an opportunity to showcase their talents to design industry professionals from across the nation. Each year the competition is judged by the AIA National president and other industry leaders.  This year's competition is an African American Cultural and Conference Center located in the historic Leimert Park area that is currently enjoying a rebirth that will only intensify when the new Crenshaw/LAX rail line opens in next few years. Learn more about requirements, rules and prizes!

The competition is open to all NOMA student chapter members. Don't have a student chapter on your campus. There is plenty of time before the deadline to kick start your chapter. Contact the University Liaison in your region for details.
