SAY IT LOUD at SXSW: The excellence is spreading

I am beyond proud of NOMA Board Member Pascale Sablan for all of her dedication and passion culminating into the SAY IT LOUD exhibit being invited to SXSW in March. This is huge and I encourage you to consider applying to be included in the exhibit or contributing monetary support to ensure that we’re able to amplify the voices of those who are under-represented in the field of architecture and design. Exposure to the masses is one way that we can help Minority designers share their talent and heighten business development opportunities.

In his keynote address, 2025–2026 NOMA President Bryan C. Lee Jr., emphasized the importance of reaffirming NOMA’s founding mission to serve architects of culture while confronting external pressures to scale back diversity initiatives. Lee urged members to harness their collective creativity and will to build a more just and liberated future for all communities.

NOMA Announces 2025 National Conference in Kansas City

The National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA) is hosting its 2025 Annual Conference: Future Unfolding, taking place October 8–12, 2025, in Kansas City, Missouri. Hosted by NOMA KC at the Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center, this year’s event will gather more than 1,200 architects, designers, students, and industry partners for five days of learning, networking, and celebration focused on equity, innovation, and the transformative future of design.
