Saundra Little, FAIA, NOMA & NOMA’s President Elect
Congratulations to Saundra Little, FAIA, this year’s AIA Detroit 2026 Gold Medal Award Recipient!
Saundra is a force in the industry and Principal + Director of Diversity and Inclusion at Quinn Evans. Through cultural, institutional, educational, and commercial projects, Saundra has championed revitalization and adaptive reuse while respecting the unique architectural heritage of local communities. Her work has helped renew, uplift, and sustain vulnerable neighborhoods across Detroit.
Her impact extends far beyond her built work. As a founding member of National Organization of Minority Architects Detroit Chapter – NOMAD and co-founder of Noir Design Parti, Saundra has dedicated herself to mentorship, fellowship, and creating greater visibility and opportunity for Black architects and young people entering the profession.
We are honored to celebrate Saundra Little and her extraordinary contributions to architecture, Detroit, and the next generation of design leaders. Learn more about her inspiring career here: https://aiadetroit.com/recognition-awards/
